*Setting
Imagine Limbo. IN not as some beautiful thriving City, or a bustling towns but, more along the lines of the slums of a city. The outskirts that, when you drive through you instinctively lock your windows and doors in fear of coming to stop at a stop-light only to get yanked out of your car. Then throw that part of the city in a post-apocalyptic setting and BAM! You got Limbo. Not so pretty sounding, am I right?
The streets are fogged over slightly during the day, with no visible cars, bikes, or motorcycles in sight. Just plain abandon, and the roads show the lack of care. Cracks and pot-holes line the streets making it almost impossible for a car to drive down it if it wanted too. Humans seem to wander around a bit more, feeling that safety comes with daylight and danger comes with nightfall. Though true in some sense, not all monsters are afraid of the light.
At night the fog becomes worse, making it almost impossible to see anything with a few yards of you, making it easier to pray on helpless beings. Without something to defend yourself with, you're best to stay off the streets and inside locked doors.
Downtown is a bit better, less slum-ier and more like a city, though it feels like an apocalypse just ran through and destroyed 99.9% of life. Sure, the shops are open and their are items that appear there (since there is never a UPS truck coming in and out) but barely a monster runs one. Most of the items are just taken from store shelves and replaced the next day, magically somehow: most believe its the curse that does it and the fact that time never moves.
All in All, that's Limbo, IN in a nut-shell. A Creepy little City/Town that looks like the plague itself reared its ugly head and went on a rampage.
